WHEN DOES THE WRESTLING SEASON BEGIN?
Usually sign ups are held in October, and practices start in November. The folkstyle practices wrap up by March, any athletes who choose to participate in the Olympic styles (Greeco, Freestyle) will continue into May.
WHAT AGE GROUPS PARTICIPATE AT EBBETTS PASS WRESTLING?
Ages 5Â and up
WHERE ARE PRACTICES AND TOURNAMENTS HELD?
Traditionally we practice at local school facilities, depending on availability. We attend USA wrestling tournaments held in the San Joaquin region.
WHERE CAN I SIGN UP?
Contact us, we will send you sign up information with USA Wrestling, our parent organization!
HOW OFTEN ARE PRACTICES HELD?
Twice a week.
WHAT IS THE COST TO JOIN EBBETTS PASS WRESTLING?
When you sign up for USA Wrestling, you pay a registration fee to them upon sign up, price is at their discression. Ebbetts Pass Wrestling charges a private team fee of typically $40.
IS COMPETITION MANDATORY?
No, competition is not mandatory.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
Practice attire is t-shirt and shorts. Wrestling shoes are encouraged.
